Welcome to SONOPHILIA

Sonophilia takes over various Lincolnshire venues and spaces during a 10 day period to celebrate sound in all its many forms.
The project was launched in 2014, by its Founder –  Lincolnshire Sound Artist Amie Slavin, and returned again in 2016. 2018 sees Amie on board in an advisory capacity, with Acoustic Nations now managing the Project. Acoustic Nations is a Lincoln based company, with a passion for live music and community. With a background in TV and Media, Acoustic Nations will be recording the majority of Sonophilia Festival using high quality recording equipment, which will then be uploaded to the Sonophilia and Acoustic Nations YouTube channels, ensuring a digital legacy that will assist artists in gaining new audiences, and our audiences in discovering new music!
Sonophilia 2018 brought you a full programme covering a wide spectrum of sound, encouraging people to try something a little different.
